Georgia Tech is expanding its campus housing with a new 862-bed residence hall designed to give first-year students a modern place to live, study and connect.
The project marks the university’s first new traditional-style dormitory in more than five decades, representing a major investment in student housing as Georgia Tech continues to grow.
The residence hall is designed specifically with the first-year experience in mind, offering students convenient spaces for studying, recreation and socializing without having to leave their residential community.
Among the building’s amenities are dedicated study areas, a fitness room and an esports lounge, giving students multiple options for balancing academics, wellness and entertainment.
The new residence hall also includes a 24/7 market, providing students with convenient access to food and other essentials throughout the day and night.
With 862 beds, the facility will increase Georgia Tech’s ability to house first-year students on campus and create a more connected residential experience for newcomers.
The development comes as colleges and universities across the country face growing demand for modern student housing and amenities that reflect how today’s students live and learn.
