Tawanda Roberts Hosts a Women’s Wellness Weekend at Rick Ross’s Georgia Estate

October 23, 2026

The first item on Friday’s schedule at The Promise Land is a tour of the land itself. Guests arriving for Rich Forever Weekend, a three-day women’s wellness retreat, will walk the grounds of Rick Ross’s 235-acre Georgia estate before the mixer, the fireside cocktails and the first panel. One of them is there as the weekend’s reason for existing: a breast cancer survivor or caregiver whose flight, hotel and full program were covered before she packed a bag.

Tawanda Roberts, the rapper’s sister, is the host. From October 23 through October 25, she is turning her brother’s estate into a retreat for high-achieving women, entrepreneurs and visionaries, organized around rest, business and one deliberate act of giving during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Black Enterprise reported the program this week, and registration details are at richforeverweekend.com.

The Rich in Life Award

The weekend’s headline initiative is the Rich in Life Award, which honors an extraordinary breast cancer survivor or a dedicated caregiver. The honoree receives the full VIP version of the retreat: round-trip airfare, luxury hotel accommodations, access to all programming and formal recognition at the event.

The award is the retreat’s answer to a documented problem. The gathering was built around health equity and the severe healthcare disparities Black women face, and the award moves that commitment off the panel stage. Rather than another conversation about caregiving, the weekend gives one caregiver, or one woman who came through treatment, three days of being looked after.

Panels, Pilates and a Marketplace of Women-Owned Businesses

Saturday belongs to commerce and polish. The “Rich in Networking Sip & Shop” marketplace puts women-owned small businesses in front of the guest list, and etiquette expert Elaine Swann leads an Executive Etiquette Dining session. The speaker lineup runs through the weekend: television personality and legal analyst Phaedra Parks presents “Rich in Wisdom,” digital creator De’arra Taylor takes up “Rich in Sisterhood,” attorney Natasha Mayne leads “Rich in Purpose,” brand authority Sherri J White covers brand building, and life coach Dhayany Walker speaks on “Rich in Love.”

Sunday slows down. The closing day, curated by the H.E.R. Wellness Society, pairs “Ol’ School Chevys & Pilates,” led by Toned by Tia and Paris Fit, with yoga, guided sound baths and a mobile golf simulator from Global Golf Society. Guests can take IV hydration education and treatments from Oluchi Aesthetics and laboratory services from 24hr Lab Lady. The brunch panel, “Rich in What Matters: The Life We’re Building,” is where the Rich in Life Award is presented.

The Address Is Part of the Program

Celebrity estates host parties all season. What sets this weekend apart is the use Roberts is making of this one. Ross assembled The Promise Land into one of the most closely watched Black-owned properties in Georgia, and land on that scale carries its own meaning in a state where Black land ownership has been fought over for generations. For three days, the acreage is not a backdrop. It is the venue, the tour and the argument: wealth held in land, opened up for rest and for giving.

The weekend also lands in a growing market. Luxury wellness travel built for Black women is expanding fast, from spa resorts to invitation-only longevity retreats in Jamaica. Roberts is betting the draw is the programming and the address in equal measure.

The weekend closes Sunday with a farewell toast from Roberts. It opens Friday with a walk across 235 acres. Between the two, one woman who spent the year giving care, or receiving it, gets to simply be a guest.

The Social Register’s event directory tracks the season’s galas, benefits, and society evenings. Plan your next evening there.
