The Atlanta BeltLine is set to continue transforming the city after officials approved a $265.8 million budget for fiscal year 2027, providing significant funding to advance one of Atlanta’s most ambitious infrastructure and community development projects.
The newly approved budget will support continued construction of trails, expanded affordable housing initiatives, park improvements, transit planning, and investments designed to strengthen neighborhoods connected by the BeltLine.
Officials say the funding reflects the city’s long-term commitment to creating a more connected, accessible, and sustainable Atlanta while encouraging economic growth and improving quality of life for residents
A substantial portion of the budget will be directed toward expanding the BeltLine’s trail network, bringing additional miles of walking and cycling paths that connect communities, businesses, parks, and public spaces throughout the city.
Affordable housing remains another major priority, with continued investments intended to help preserve housing options and support inclusive growth as development continues along the BeltLine corridor.
