Greg Beadles Named President and CEO of Atlanta Falcons

January 5, 2026

The Atlanta Falcons have officially named Greg Beadles as President and Chief Executive Officer, signaling a significant leadership transition as the franchise looks toward long-term stability and growth. Atlanta Falcons new President and CEO Greg Beadles fills the role after a season of organizational reassessment and reflects a renewed focus on aligning business operations with football performance.

Falcons owner and chairman Arthur M. Blank announced the decision, emphasizing Beadles’ deep institutional knowledge, proven leadership, and decades-long commitment to the organization. Beadles succeeds longtime executive Rich McKay, who will shift his focus to broader responsibilities within Arthur M. Blank Sports and Entertainment, including preparation for major international and national events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup and future Super Bowl hosting duties.

Beadles has spent more than 30 years with the Falcons organization, beginning his career as an intern and rising through the ranks across multiple departments. Most recently serving as team president, he oversaw core business functions including finance, operations, marketing, digital strategy, human resources, communications, and community engagement. His leadership has been credited with maintaining strong fan satisfaction, operational efficiency, and consistent brand performance within a highly competitive NFL landscape.

As President and CEO, Beadles will oversee all business operations for the Atlanta Falcons, working in close coordination with football leadership as the franchise reshapes its front-office structure. The organization has announced plans to establish a President of Football Operations role, a move designed to create clearer accountability and tighter alignment between the business and football sides of the organization.

The timing of Beadles’ appointment comes after the Falcons concluded the 2025 season with an 8–9 record and missed the playoffs, prompting leadership changes and a broader organizational reset. By promoting a seasoned executive with deep roots in the franchise, the Falcons are prioritizing continuity while still embracing change.

A Georgia native and lifelong Falcons supporter, Beadles brings both personal passion and professional discipline to the role. His background includes a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree from Georgia State University, further reinforcing his strong ties to the region and the community the Falcons serve.

Greg Beadles’ elevation to President and CEO underscores the Falcons’ commitment to long-term success built on strong leadership, operational excellence, and a unified vision. As the team continues its search for new football leadership and prepares for a transformative period ahead, this move positions the franchise to strengthen its foundation both on and off the field.
