Taylor Swift is once again dominating the streaming charts, with The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore generating 40.53 million streams on Spotify’s Global chart during its first day, powered entirely by its four new deluxe tracks.
The four-song expansion of Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl delivered an especially strong showing, with all four tracks landing inside Spotify’s Global Top 4 on their debut.
Leading the pack was “Patient Zero,” which opened at No. 1 with approximately 13.7 million streams. “Cleveland!” followed at No. 2 with about 9.62 million, while “Pink Clouding” debuted at No. 3 with roughly 8.78 million. “Babylon” rounded out the Top 4 with approximately 8.41 million streams.
Together, the four tracks accounted for the reported 40.53 million global streams, giving The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore a major first-day streaming milestone.
The Encore edition adds four songs to the original 12-track album: “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.” Spotify and Apple Music list the release as a 16-track edition of the project.

The performance also gave Swift another notable streaming achievement. Reports citing Spotify say she became the most-streamed female artist on the platform in a single day in 2026, while “Patient Zero” became the most-streamed song by a female artist in a single day on Spotify so far this year.
Swift announced The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore shortly after revealing “Patient Zero.” The expanded edition was released September 25, with Swift explaining that the four songs came from a studio session with longtime collaborators Max Martin and Shellback in Sweden.
The streaming surge also boosted the original album. “The Fate of Ophelia,” the opening track from The Life of a Showgirl, climbed back into Spotify’s Global Top 10 at No. 7 with more than 4 million additional streams, according to reports tracking the chart.
With all four new tracks occupying the top spots at once, The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore has given Swift another major streaming moment just days after the release of her latest music.
