I’M SO ATL Campaign Bringing Public Art to 400+ Parks Across Atlanta This Summer

Beginning this May and continuing throughout the summer, Atlanta’s new I’M SO ATL Campaign is transforming more than 400 parks citywide into vibrant community art spaces celebrating Atlanta’s culture, creativity, and local artists.

The initiative will culminate with the free ARTlanta Festival, scheduled for August 7–9.

Turning Parks Into Creative Spaces

The campaign aims to bring art directly into neighborhoods by activating public parks with:
• Murals and visual art installations
• Live performances
• Interactive cultural programming
• Community-centered creative events


Organizers say the project is designed to make art more accessible while highlighting the unique identity and diversity of Atlanta communities.

Celebrating Atlanta Culture

The I’M SO ATL Campaign focuses on showcasing:
• Local artists
• Neighborhood pride
• Atlanta’s music, art, and cultural influence
• Community engagement through public spaces

Officials say the effort reflects Atlanta’s growing reputation as a major creative and cultural hub.

ARTlanta Festival to Close Out the Summer


The initiative will conclude with the free ARTlanta Festival on August 7–9, expected to feature:
• Art exhibitions
• Performances and entertainment
• Food and community activities
• Large-scale public programming across the city

The festival is anticipated to attract residents and visitors alike while spotlighting Atlanta’s artistic talent.


Through the I’M SO ATL Campaign, more than 400 parks across Atlanta will become creative community spaces this summer, leading up to the free ARTlanta Festival and celebrating the city’s thriving artistic culture.
