Hundreds of residents in a Henry County, Georgia, neighborhood were left without electricity after a truck struck a power transformer, triggering an outage that lasted into the following day.

The crash damaged critical electrical equipment and disrupted service for homes across the surrounding community. Residents were forced to spend hours without power while utility crews worked to assess the damage and begin repairs.

The outage created challenges for families, particularly those relying on electricity for air conditioning, refrigeration and other essential household needs.
