The FBI has identified a 43-year-old U.S. Army veteran as the suspect accused of throwing an incendiary device and setting a fire outside a federal building in New York City.
According to federal authorities, the incident occurred outside a government facility, where the suspect allegedly ignited a fire using an incendiary device before law enforcement officers quickly responded to the scene.
The fire was brought under control, and authorities secured the area as investigators collected evidence and assessed the extent of the damage. Officials have not indicated that there is any ongoing threat to the public.
