Aurora Anguilla Opens Trade Winds, a Five-Bedroom Villa at $8,000 a Night

Trade Winds has five bedrooms, four kitchens and three pools, and it sleeps a family that arrives three generations deep. Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club has opened the 9,500-square-foot villa on Merrywing Beach at an introductory rate from $8,000 a night, bookable now, with no minimum stay.

The villa is built for groups that want a private house and a resort at the same time. Across two floors it holds three king bedrooms and two double bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two powder rooms, two living rooms and two dining areas. The primary suite alone runs 1,710 square feet, with a soaking tub and double sinks. Two pools sit at ground level. A third, a plunge pool, waits on the rooftop, reached by elevator and faced toward the beach. There is a private movie theater for the nights nobody wants to dress for dinner.

The rate steps up to $10,000 a night on December 20, 2026, when the Caribbean high season takes hold. Until then the introductory price is the story: split among twelve guests, the maximum the villa sleeps, the per-person math lands below many single rooms on the island.

Aurora spread the opening across two sizes of party. Six Golf View One Bedroom Executive Suites join the resort this month, each 1,250 square feet with a king bed, a full kitchen and golf course views, from $2,100 a night. Couples traveling with the larger group can take a suite and keep their own door to close.

What separates Trade Winds from a rented house on the same beach is everything outside its walls. The resort covers more than 380 acres along Rendezvous Bay and holds 178 suites and private estates, a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole championship golf course, the Sorana Spa, seven restaurants and bars, and a 600,000-gallon water park that settles the question of what the youngest generation does all day. Villa guests get golf carts to cross it and a dedicated Lifestyle Concierge to plan across it.

“Our expanded villa collection gives guests a private setting where they can gather, celebrate and enjoy time together, paired with the full Aurora experience just outside their door,” said Sean Robertson, the resort’s General Resort Manager.

Anguilla has built its name on small hotels and long lunches rather than towers, and its most loyal visitors return to the same stretch of sand each winter. A villa that seats the whole family at one table, then sends everyone to separate wings, is aimed squarely at them. The December 20 rate change is the deadline hiding inside the announcement: the house is cheapest in the weeks right after it opens.
